Himadri, Himachal and Shiwalik
Explain Himadr.
Also known as the greater or inner himalayas the himadri has some of the tallest peaks in the world at the altitude of 6000m and is made up of granite.
Explain Himachal
Also called as the lesser Himalayas the Himachal lie below the Himadri these are present at a height of 4500-3700m and are made of altered rocks. These have the most rugged mountain ranges in the world including the Mahabharat range and also famous valley like Kashmir and Kullu Valley
Explain Shiwalik
These are present at a height of 900- 1100km and at a width of 50km, these are created out of sediments bought by the rivers from the higher himalayas. Vlleys between the Himachal and Shiwalik are called duns. Some famous ones are Dehra dun, Patli dun and kolti dun.
