1

A

In parietal lobe, deals w recognition of sensory input
- Ex. feel something in pocket, adjacent association area helps recognize object
- Compares present situations and past experience

Q

Language and cerebral dominance

A

Ability to detect, comprehend, express language is function of a single cerebral cortex.
- 99.9% right handed ppl, right hemisphere dominant
- 70% left handed ppl, left hemisphere is dominant
- Remaining 30%: 1/2 right dom, 1/2 mixed dom
