How do the media influence our healthy and unhealthy behaviors?
Both the amount and type of information can change our beliefs and thoughts.
How can a decision making model be useful?
Allowing you to be more efficient and to help people who learn differently.
Know the types of refusal skills that can be used
Saying “No” and explaining why, Using effective body language, and Suggesting something else.
Understand the process of setting a goal, achieving the goal, and evaluating the goal
Making a goal, making smaller sub goals, having dates to meet, and Having a plan on what to do after.
How does stress influence our daily life?
Anxiety can make it much harder to concentrate on school tasks and other responsibilities. Anxiety can also appear in your body as an upset stomach, skin problems, or other physical symptoms.
What are the signs of stress?
Difficulty breathing.
Panic attacks.
Blurred eyesight or sore eyes.
Sleep problems.
Fatigue.
Muscle aches and headaches.
Chest pains and high blood pressure. Indigestion or heartburn.
What types of effective strategies can be used to reduce and/or prevent stress in your life?
Eat healthy, exercise, get plenty of sleep, and give yourself a break if you feel stressed out. Take care of your body. Take deep breaths, stretch, or meditate.
What is Seasonal Effective Disorder?
Seasonal affective disorder is a form of depression also known as SAD, seasonal depression or winter depression. major depressive disorder with seasonal pattern.
What is Depression?
Depression is a constant feeling of sadness and loss of interest, which stops you doing your normal activities.

A mental disorder is characterized by a clinically significant disturbance in an individual’s cognition, emotional regulation, or behaviour.
What is bipolar disorder?
Bipolar disorder is a serious mental illness that causes unusual shifts in mood, ranging from extreme highs (mania or “manic” episodes) to lows (depression or “depressive” episode).
What is Obsessive Compulsive disorder?
Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) is a disorder in which people have recurring, unwanted thoughts, ideas or sensations (obsessions).

How does your self-esteem play a role in developing health emotions?
A low self-esteem can reduce the quality of a person’s life in many different ways, including: Negative feelings – the constant self-criticism can lead to persistent feelings of sadness, depression, anxiety, anger, shame or guilt.
Define Acceptance of difference in a relationship
it is OK to agree to disagree. Acceptance is about valuing your partner’s differences. It is about being flexible, knowing how to compromise and understanding that people make mistakes.
