the higher the score, the worse the RDS
0,1 or 2 is given in 5 areas.
0: perfect 10: severe resp. distress.
Tx of RDS
Artificial surfactant CPAP Mechanica vent Humidified o2 Daily wt, I&O, BP, thermoregulation
Complications of RDS
