When are the air rigs added?
1 to the 2nd and 1 to the 3rd alarm
What is the 1st engine establish?
Lobby, Systems, Command, Otis 1 and 2
What are the 1st crews to take fire attack?
2nd and 3rd engine and 1st truck
Is level 1 staging used at high rise incidents?
No
Who becomes the 1st fire floor supervisor?
4th engine captain, until 2nd BC comes up to help
Who becomes RAT1?
the 3rd arriving truck on the 1st alarm
What is the role of the 3rd arriving BC?
Evacuation group, He is in charge of RAT 1 and 2
If a second alarm is struck, where is staging?
Minimum 2 floors below the fire
Who establishes BASE?
3rd Alarm assignment, established outside of the collapse zone
If there is a need for 4th or greater alarms, what channel will the crews respond on?
On the designated BASE channel
What is the role of the 1st arriving engine on the 1st alarm?
Single point of entry, voice location Lobby, systems, command Confirm and label Fire attack and Evac stairwells OTIS 1 and 2 Connect to standpipes
Who establishes OTIS 1?
Back up Fireman with full PPE, flashlight, radio, haligan, spare bottle and keys
What is OTIS1’s responsibility if the fire is on the 6th floor or below?
Secure and maintain the single point of entry
