First part of the Mass
INTRODUCTORY RITE- purpose is to allow the faith and gather and prepare themselves to listen properly and celebrate worthily.
Second part of the Mass
LITURGY OF THE WORD- purpose is to recall God’s deeds on Old/New Testaments of the Bible.
Third part of the Mass
Liturgy of the Eucharist- Its purpose is to prepare for the changing of the bread and wine into Jesus’ body and blood.
Forth part of the Mass
CONCLUDING RITE- purpose if to instruct others to go out and live out the gospel message.

Why should people attend Mass?
To grow closer to God, helps to develop a relationship with Him. To receive the Eucharist (spiritual norishment) To pray.
What is the connections between the Last Supper and Mass?
The words recited by Jesus at the Last Supper; “Do this in memory of me.” are the exact same words that the priests says at mass today during Eucharist. Saying “Do this in memory of me” after each action, Jesus was telling them to repeat his words and actions.
