A

The king lived on a hill in beautiful stone buildings and his people lived in the valley below. There were skilled craftsmen who worked with iron, copper and gold.

A

We believe that it was a great African trading society. The people who lived there hunted elephants and traded gold and ivory with India, China and Arabia.

The remains of many beautiful objects . The most beautiful is a golden rhino. It was found in a royal grave.

A

It is a small wooded carving covered with a sheet of finely beaten gold. The gold is fixed onto the wood with tiny pins.
