What do Wind-Damp dispelling herbs do?

A

Dispel wind-dampness from muscles, sinews, joints, and bones, alleviates painful obstructions (bi) and invigorates collaterals.

Wind is migratory and causes pain.
Damp is heavy and swollen.
Can involve blood stasis and phlegm.

Most herbs are drying and can injure yin and blood.
