warms the Yang (KD) & assists Yang (vital Ming Men Fire)
used to boost HT Yang (boost circulation, coma, CH failure)

TOXIC HERB - MUST BE PREPARED!
2 parts of Fu Zi:
Wu Tou = Chuan Wu & Cao Wu (not the lateralis part of the plant) (disperses cold and wind - damp, painful Bi)

acrid, sweet, hot
warms the KD fire & fortifies the Yang for wide variety of problems due to insufficiency of KD yang & waning of Ming Men (this is not for collapse of Yang)
leads fire back to its source (that small consistent healthy fire to keep Qi & yang going) instead of the Yang def floating upward (heat above, cold below s/sx)
dispels deep cold, warms the channels & unlocks them, alleviates pain (yin type of boils, dysmenorrhea)
encourages generation of Qi & blood
(an auxiliary herb for chronic Qi or BL Xu) (could use with Ren Shen for blood stagnation or blood clots)

GAN JIANG (rhizoma zingibens offinalis)
(dried ginger)
Warms MJ & expels cold (pain and no TNT = epigastric pain, vomit, diarrhea, eating too much cold food, cold from Yang def)
rescues devastes Yang & expels cold from the interior
warms the LU’s & transforms PHL (congested, watery, too much fluid or cold type of asthma
warms the channels & stops bleeding (Yang cant hold blood in (char or toast or Pot Jiang)
FU ZI & GAN JIANG pair used together to rescue devastated Yang. FU ZI is the general that generates the fire. GAN JIANG is the minister helping to KEEP the fire.

warms MJ, disperses cold, relieves constraint in the LV channel & alleviates pain.
