Re-legitimises Mary and Elizabeth behind Edward and lays out a clear plan of succession. After Elizabeth, the throne would go to the Greys.

Why was it significant that there was 3 days between Henry’s death and the announcement of his death?
Possible the Protestant faction were convening on how to alter his will to exclude the now Queen Dowager - Catherine Parr - from any further influence (power over Edward).
