A

A

It was held in May 1525 in response to the Amicable Grant. This led to Henry stopping the tax and Wolsey also became unpopular. Henry’s wish to attack France was abandoned

A

They started in 1526 by Wolsey to remove unnecessary servants in the Tudor Court, cut expenses for food/drink. The Privy Chamber was also cut from 12 men to 6.

A

It got rid of political opponents, but Wolsey became unpopular because others thought that he was trying to isolate the King.

A

It was fought in 1513 and was then won by the British against the French. Henry captured the towns of Therouanne and Tournai so he saw it as a success. However these towns were of little value.

A

It was held in 1518. Wolsey put forward an ideas of ‘universal peace’ and the agreement was that all should promise to start war. This was Treaty was made between 20 leading European Rulers. Henry was then seen as a great peacemaker.
