He married Elizabeth of York. He married Arthur to Catherine of Aragon. He married his daughter Margaret to James IV of Scotland

He made a law that restricted private army’s and if you did not comply there would be massive fines. He set up the court of the star chamber this is where nobles were fined. He hired men of humble birth to be his advisors not nobles. Nobles were fined heavenly if they misbehaved but were rewarded lots if they behaved well in the eyes of Henry.

He made a law in 1485 that all good to England had to be transported in English boats. In 1496 he obtained a free market for English wool in Flanders. He made a treaty with Denmark so English ships could fish there. He made other treaties to strengthen his trade empire.
