•simnel impersonated the earl of Warwick (who was imprisoned)
•crowned king Edward in Ireland
Henry showed the real earl so Lincoln fled to burgundy
•Henry’s army defeated them at the battle of stoke field
•ended the wars of roses

Trained by Margret of burgundy
1495 Attempted to land in England but defeated so went to Scotland
Tried to claim throne by exploiting Cornish rebellion but it was crushed so he surrendered

1491-6000 volunteers sent to Brittany but Anne surrendered to French
