AML Induction Therapy
3 days of an Anthracycline + 7 days of cytarabine
AML Consolidation Chemo
3-4 cycles of cytarabine high dose over 5 days in conjuction with etoposide, daunomycin or idarubicin
ALL Induction Therapy (Philadelphia chromosome)
Gleevec (imatinib)
ALL Induction Therapy
Oncovin® (vincristine), Elspar® (L-asparaginase) or Oncaspar® (peg-L-asparaginase), and an anthracycline such as Adriamycin® (doxorubicin)
Older Pt with ALL
Hyper-CVAD (cyclophosphamide, vincristine, doxorubicin, dexamethasone)
ALL Induction Therapy Children
administering three drugs: Oncovin® (vincristine), prednisone or dexamethasone, and Elspar® (L-asparaginase) or Oncaspar® (PEG-L-asparaginase).
CLL Early Stage (Rai 0-II; Binet A)
NOTHING unless high risk/symptomatic
CLL Symptomatic single chemotherapy agent
Leukeran® (chlorambucil) and Fludara® (fludarabine), Rituxan® (rituximab), Campath® (alemtuzumab), and Treanda® (bendamustine).
CLL Symptomatic multitherapy Tx
Fludara; Cytoxan; Rituxan; Mitoxantrone; Campath
Fludara plus Cytoxan (FC);
Fludara, Cytoxan, and Rituxan (FCR);
Fludara, Cytoxan and Mitoxantrone (FCM) with or without Rituxan;
Fludara, Cytoxan, and Campath (FCC)
Cytoxan, Fludara, Campath and Rituxan (CFAR)
Nipent, Cytoxan and Rituxan (PCR)
CLL supportive care

surgery, radiation therapy, or chemotherapy
Anemia Tx
Dietary/supplements: B12, folic acid, iron, and vitamin C
Medication: vitamin B12 injections, folic acid pills, intravenous iron or oral iron pills, antibiotics, or hormones.
Blood transfusions, or surgery.
Barrett’s Esophagus Tx
Anti-reflux medication—Without dysplasia
Anti-reflux medication possibly photodynamic/laser—-Low-grade dysplasia
Esophagectomy—-High-grade dysplasia
Esophageal CA Stage 0-II
