A

30-45 seconds for Heparin/Lovenox (enoxaparin). >90 seconds initiate bleeding precautions. PTT therapeutic level is 1.5-2.5 x control.
•increased PT/PTT means longer it takes blood to clot-risk for bleeding
•decreased PT/PTT means risk for clot/stroke
