Describe Idiopathic thrombocytopenia purpura (ITP) and its effects on mom and baby

Autoimmune disorder with IgG binding to platelets
Low maternal platelets with normal clotting studies
Fetal thrombocytopenia, low risk ICH
Tx: corticosteroids, IVIG, splenectomy, platelet transfusion
