- Slowly progressive malignancy of B lymphocytes that results in accumulation of small, incompetent B cells
- Asymptomatic. Fatigue, LAD, HSM.
- Lymphocyte count greater than 5000
- B-cell antigens: CD19/20/23, t cell antigen
- smudge cells, warm antibody AI hemolytic anemia
- BMT + all others

- Accumulation of hairy cells and reticulin fibrosis in bone marrow
- Splenomegaly. Bleeding. Infxns. Thrombocytopenia and leukcytopenia.
- Stains TRAP+
- Hair. Fried egg.
- 2-CdA

- increase granulocytes and less than 5% blasts.
- imatinib: antibody to philly chrom.
