Helaman 1
Pahoran dies and his 3 sons contend for the judgment seat (Pahoran, Paanchi, and Pacumeni)
Paanchi is executed, Pahoran is murdered by Kishkumen and Pacumeni is smitten against the wall by Coriantumr¹ in his charge to Zarahemla, who is then defeated by Moronihah.

Helaman becomes chief judge

Helaman 3
Many Nephites go northward. Thousands are baptized into the church as it prospers under Helaman, and his two sons, Lehi and Nephi. Nephi fills the judgement seat.
Helaman 4
The Nephites begin to get slaughtered in battle because of their wickedness. They lose their lands, Moronihah, Nephi and Lehi preach and they regain half. They had become weak like the Lamanites.
Helaman 5
Nephi gives up the judgement seat, and Helaman’s last words to his sons. Nephi and Lehi baptized thousands of Lamanites. The story of them in prison, surrounded by the fire. The Lamanites give the Nephite lands back.
Helaman 6
The Lamanites preach to the Nephites and both people proper for a time, until the Gadianton robbers take over the Nephite government.
Helaman 7
Nephi prays on his garden tower, and then calls the people to repent.
Helaman 8
Nephi tells of many prophets who prophesied of Christ and announces murder of chief judge.
Helaman 9
The five find the chief judge dead and become converted. Nephi is accused, and correctly identifies Seantum as the murderer.
Helaman 10
Nephi receives the sealing power, and preaches
Helaman 11
Nephi starts a famine, the people repent, and then it ends. The Gadianton robbers grow stronger in the land.
Helaman 12
Mormon inserts a rant about how mortals are #theworst (pride cycle)
“Slow to remember the Lord their God”
“Unless the Lord sends death, famine, etc. they will not remember Him”
Helaman 13
Samuel the Lamanite begins preaching. He prophesies the destruction of the Nephites and tells of their wickedness. He talks about the curse that will come upon the land.
Helaman 14
Samuel the Lamanite predicts Christ’s birth and testifies of His divinity. He gives the signs for Christ’s birth and death.
Helaman 15
Samuel preaches of the firmness in the faith of the converted Lamanites, and how God will be merciful to them in the latter days.
