What is heaven?
The holy place which people aim to meet through faith in God.
What is heaven like?
Jesus called heaven Gods throne “for it is Gods throne”
Jesus is also in heaven with God
Heaven is paradise “I tell you the truth, today you will be with me in paradise”
What is Hell like?
“For if God did not spare angles when they sinned, but sent them to hell, putting them in gloomy dungeons to be held for judgement.”
What is Hell like?
Eternal suffering - “and they will go out and look upon the dead bodies of those who rebelled against me, their fire will not be quenched.”
What is heaven like?
Being in the presence of God
What is hell like?
Hell is not being near to God and he is prepared to forgive but if you choose to ignore him you choose to walk away you can’t be with him
What is purgatory?
Catholic belief if you have sinned in your life you go to purgatory and ask for forgiveness and you will be forgive, however you still have to pay for it
Who goes to heaven or hell? (For)
Some believe “no one will go to hell” and in the afterlife everyone will get the chance to learn from their mistakes
Who goes to heaven or hell? (Middle)
Good people will go to heaven whatever their beliefs and evil people will go to hell.
Who goes to heaven and hell? (Against)
Anyone born as a baptised as a believer in water and Holy Spirit will go to heaven
