Deegres Celsius is a unit which is used in measuring the temperature.
What are 3 States matter?
There is 3 states solid, liquid and gasses.
What is Conduction?
In conduction, energy is transferred from one particle to another touching it, from hotter to colder particles.q1`
What is Convection?
When a gas or a liquid gets heated the particles move up.`
What is Radiation of Heat?
This is Transfer of Heat by waves. Unlike conduction and convection which both transfer heat energy :
through particles, vindicated heat can travel.
through a vacuum e.g. an empty space with no particles in it.
What is Expansion in solids?
When you heat something solid like metal, it will expand which will make it melt.
What is Contraction?
This Happens when after you heat something it cools down, it becomes small again.
What is Evaporation?
Its a change of state from liquid to gas by thermal energy.
What is Infra Red?
it’s thermal energy which is carried from hotter to colder objects.
What is Insulation?
Insulation is keeping something which might be house warm.
What temperature is a cup of tea?
It’s 75*C
What is heat energy?
If something takes it in or gives it out it’s temperature changes.
Thermal insulator?
A material that allows very little heat energy to flow through it.
