Law of Conserveation of energy
Energy can not be created or destroyed just transformed (under normal conditions.
Heat
Thermal energy that flows due to a diffrence in tempeture. Heat flows from hot to cold.
Heat transfer
A method by which heat flows (conduction, convection, radiation).
Conduction
heat tranfer within or between solid objects.
Convection
Heat transfer into or out of fluids.
Radiation
Heat transfer due to packets of energy called photons that can travel through many substances, even empty space.
Insulater
A material through which energy ( electrical, thermal or sound) cannot be easily transfered.
Conductor
A material which energy ( electrical, thermal or sound ) can be easily transfered.
Tempeture
The measurements of the average speed of all particals.
