Heat
Thermal energy that flows due to a difference in temperature. Heat flows from hot to cold.

A method which heat flows ( conduction, convection, radiation )

Radiation
heat transfer due to packets of energy called photons that can travel through many substances, even empty space.
Insulator
A material through which energy ( electrical, thermal or sound ) cannot be easily transferred.
conductor
A material through which energy ( electrical, thermal or sound ) can be easily transferred.
Temperature
The measure of the average speed of all particles.
Thermal energy
The total energy of all particles in an object.
