  • Ontario disability support program
  • ODSP (covers all costs)

-programs will cover up to the mid level technology within hearing aids (need prior approval of why mid level technology is not sufficient enough if they want advanced)

Workplace safety and insurance board

A
  • WSIB covers all costs associated w hearing aids for life for those who have worked in noise and have sever enough HL (at least 22.5dB in BOTH ears at 500- 3000Hz) , AND worked in noise for at least 5 years in Ontario
  • each province has their own workplace safety insurance board
