what is blood made from
red blood cells,white blood cells,platelets and plasma
what is plasma
a liquid that carries glucose + oxygen around the body. this is by carrying red blood cells, white blood cells and plateletes

haemoglobin which carries oxygen
what dose white blood cells do
destroys bacteria + viruses
what does platelets do
they bind onto complementary binding sites,specific, making anti-bodies
what are the two main types of white blood cell
lympocytes produce specific antibodies, phagocytes which engulfs bacteria
how do vaccines work
the vaccine has a complementary shape to the virus which makes anti-bodies to the virus. antibodies have specific complementary binding sites for only one type of particle.
