Stress = emotional response to stimulations of threat.
Physical = environment (temperature, noise)
- Response = physical symptoms (increased heart rate)

Psychological =life events, daily hassles, workplace, own personality

Definition

A

Addiction is a complex mental health disorder in which a individual takes a substance or engages in a behaviour that is pleasurable but is compulsive and harmful.
Physiological = Substances (drugs, alcohol)
Behavioural = pleasurable experiences (gambling and Shopping)

Classified by (ICD) - International classification of diseases
