control measures include actons that can be taken to reduce the potential of exposure to the hazard.
Whats the difference between legislation and regulation?
legislation is an umbrella of rules and laws that affect everyone equally. Regulations, however, impact only employees and workers who are working with the agency that is responsible for the said regulations.
What is a Trade Union?
A trade union is an organisation made up of members (a membership-based organisation) and its membership must be made up mainly of workers. One of a trade union’s main aims is to protect and advance the interests of its members in the workplace.
What is an Employment Tribunal?
Employment tribunals are tribunal public bodies in both England and Wales and Scotland that have statutory jurisdiction to hear disputes between employers and employees.
