Rehab
The process of restoring a person to the highest possible level of functioning through the use of therapy, exercise, or other methods.
Why would someone get rehab
Rehabilitation may follow an acute injury or illness, or it may be part of the treatment for a persistent illness or disability. Rehabilitation can also maintain or slow the decline of functioning.
Restorative care
Restorative care usually involves the client and family, nurses, and support workers. Therapists and other professionals may be consulted, as needed, but the care is usually provided by nurses and support workers.
