Health and medical care –> people in poor countries tend to have less access to health services than those in more development countries. USA, China, Iceland
Health issue occurs when the body is affected by bacteria causing health problem which are considered as disease.
Why is a good health important for a country?
Different of 50% of economic growth between developing and developed nations can be attributed to poor health and low expectancy.
When citizens are healthier:
- more effective workforce
- better the health of their children
- fewer birth, fewer dependents
What does SDG 3 (Health) aspires
SDG 3 aspires to ensure health and well-being for all, also to end the epidemics of some communicable disease by 2030. It also aims to achieve universal health, and provide access to safe and effective medicines and vaccines for all.
The pandemic has reserved progress in health and shortened life expectancy. All the progress of reproductive health, maternal health and child health has been reversed due Covid 19.
What causes HIV
HIV is caused by a virus
It can spread through sexual contact, illicit injection and drug use, contact with infected blood, or form mother to child during pregnancy, childbirth or breastfeeding.
