What is a Healthy Relationship?
A healthy relationship is built on Honesty, Trust, and Respect.
Identify three kinds of relationships you have in your life
My dad (Parent/child), My friend (friendship), and my teacher (teacher/student).
Define citizenship and give a good example
Citizenship is having mutual respect for other people. A good example of citizenship is having respect for a new student you met, and not insulting or mocking them.
What are the three C’s of a healthy relationship
Communication, Cooperation, Compromise
dentify four ways to show respect in your relationships
Being open and honest, Listen to each other, Value each other’s beliefs and feelings, and supporting each other.

Mutual respect, Care, Honesty, and Commitment
What is the difference between a friendship and a relationship
A friendship is when you either speak because of the environment or you have trust for each other, but keep some personal things might stay to yourself. A relationship is one where you trust each other deeply and tell each other secrets
What are the three main styles of communication
Verbal, nonverbal, and visual.
How can strong values strengthen your relationship with others? Give examples
When you are kind and respectful and practice these good values, people will most likely return the same gestures and respect for you as well. An example is going from a friend to a “brother/sister” because of mutual values.
How is Bullying different from Hazing
Bullying is an attack against a specific person, Hazing is an indirect attack usually caused by numerous people.
What are some ways to show interest in what another person is saying
Nodding, grunting, agreeing, and sharing similar thoughts.
Define the term body language and give examples
Body Language is communicating by the movement of a body part. An example would be moving your hand to greet someone.
List the characteristics of good mental/emotional health
Smiling, Walking with confidence, Delaying Gratification, Self Awareness, Leadership, Low-stress levels, and Stoicism.
Define the term Self Esteem
Self Esteem is how to value and perceive yourself.

Psychological, Safety, Love, Esteem, and self actualization

The concept you develop about yourself that evolves as you progress through life

Trustworthiness, Respect, Responsibility, Fairness, Caring, and Citizenship
What is the benefit of constructive criticism
Builds trust and provides opportunities for both parties to grow
Explain how healthful risk-taking can help you mature in new ways.
When you take healthful risk-taking, you can learn from those risks and it helps especially when a situation like those comes again in the future
What are emotions? How can emotions affect your behavior
Emotions are how you feel about certain people or situations. Emotions affect your behavior because they decide how you attack a situation.
What are five common self-defense mechanisms
Denial, Displacement, Projection, Rationalization, and Reaction.
What are strategies for handling anger in a healthful way
Calm down, Think before you speak, and don’t act on emotion.
What role do hormones play in affecting a teen’s emotions
They affect mood, emotions, impulses, and the body.
