Define: Justice
What is right and fair. Health care providers must practice within the boundaries of the law and report any actions that break the law or compromise the health or safety of a patient.
Define: Beneficence
The act of doing good or being good. Encompasses the duties to prevent harm and to remove harm when possible.
Define: Non-maleficence
Doing no harm. All HCP have the duty to prevent, remove, and do no harm.
Define: Autonomy
The right to self-determination

What a person believes to be right and wrong pertaining to how to act, how to treat others, and how to behave in an organized society.
Define: Morality
Death or the occurrence of deaths resulting from disease, accidents or environmental causes.
What is a Psychiatrist?
A psychiatrist is a medical doctor trained in diagnosing and treating mental illness and is allowed to prescribe medications
What is a psychologist?
A psychologist has education and training that allows him or her to provide counselling services to help people with mental illness and is not allowed to prescribe medications
What is anxiety?
Anxiety is a feeling of uneasiness, dread, apprehension, or worry.
What is depression?
Depression is a feeling of excessive sadness or hopelessness that does not go away with time

What is the purpose of the LHIN?
LHIN’s were established as not-for-profit crown agencies responsible for planning, integrating and funding local health services
What is a physiotherapist?
