as the foetus uses nutrients consumed by the mother it will take the nutrients they require at the expense of the mothers health

age 1-12 (child), due to increased activity growth and repair of body tissue

rapid growing which requires high energy needs

18-65 (adulthood) as activity can decrease and alcohol, caffeine and smoking becomes a concern
