In the well of the desk to avoid it falling off the edge of the desk causing an accident.
Where should both hands be at all times when using the chisel?
Both hands should ALWAYS be behind the chisel blade.
Why should you always tuck your tie in when you enter the workshop?
To avoid it getting caught in any machines.
Why should you never use headphones/ earphones in the workshop?
If you are listening to music, you could become distracted and not hear if someone is needing your help if they are in an accident.
Why is it important to wear safety goggles when using machines?
To avoid any loose debris going into your eyes.
Why is it important that no one enters the marked box when someone is using a machine?
To avoid accidentally bumping into them.
Why is it important that all bags and jackets are neatly tucked under the desk or hung up?
To avoid tripping hazards.
Why is it important to always isolate (turn a machine off at the wall) when you are finished?
To avoid the potential of someone turning the machine on and using it if they are unsure how to use it.
