- If RICS members feel uncomfortable or are not competent to manage the risks at any time during their visit, they should stop all activities immediately and obtain the assistance of a competent person
What is the difference between a risk and a hazard?
hazard - something that can cause harm

What does PPE at work regulations 2022 do?
Extends the employers duty to provide appropriate PPE for employees and contractors including casual employment such as cleaning or security or construction workers.
What are some things you should consider when working from height?
- Check scaffolding date tag
- Light levels

Buddy system in place, also have a word such as “Everest” in emergency, put inspection in diary

What is a method statement?
A document detailing how a task should be carried out
What should a method statement contain/be?
- Prior approved
- Outline hazards and steps to carry out task safely
- Detail control measures introduced to ensure safety of those affected by the works

a copy of their public liability insurance before the work can commence
