An occasion when you become more energetic and active than before or recover fron something bad
Example: The project suddenly got a new lease of life when the developers agreed to provide some more funding
His grandchildren have given him a new lease of life
INTRINSIC
Being an extremely important and basic characteristic of a person or thing
Example: Maths is an intrinsic part of the school curriculum
works of little intrinsic value/interest
BE IN TWO MINDS
To be unable to decide about something:
Example: I was in two minds whether or not to come this morning
He was in two minds about moving forward with the project
ESCHEW
To avoid something intentionally, or to give something up
Example: Male students eschew balanced diets for supplements
