Define Aetiology
aetiology: the cause, set of causes, or manner of causation of a disease or condition.
Define Pathogensis
Pathogenesis: The manner of development of a disease.
Define symptoms
Symptoms: A physical or mental feature which is regarding as indicating a condition of disease, particularly such a feature that is apparent to the patient.
Define signs
Signs: An indication of a disease detectable by a medical practitioner even if not apparent to the patient.
Define diagnosis
Diagnosis: Determination of the nature of a cause of a disease, diagnosis is usually based on signs, symptoms and laboratory findings during life.
Define prognosis
Prognosis: A forecast of the probable course and outcome of an attack of disease and the prospects of recovery as indicated by the nature of the disease and the symptoms of the case.
Define natural history of a disease
Natural history of a disease: The course followed by a disease or condition without treatment.

Health: Health is a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity.
