Fertilization

The process by which the embryo attaches to the endometrial surface of the uterus and invades the epithelium and then the maternal circulation to form the placenta.

An organ that forms in the womb, also called the uterus, during pregnancy.

A tube that connects you to your baby during pregnancy.

Medical care you get during pregnancy.
Ectopic Pregnancy
Occurs when a fertilized egg grows outside of the uterus.
Miscarriage
The unexpected ending of a pregnancy in the first 20 weeks of gestation.
