Unilateral pain, throbbing, 6-7/10 pain
motion makes it worse
nauseous, photo/phonophobic
no neurological signs

migrane with aura

analgesia (aspirin, paracetamol or naproxen)
metoclopramide (anti emetic)
sumatriptan

long term
amitriptyline/valproate/topiramate/propanolol

raised ESR - temporal biopsy to confirm
