A

Where people live in a place that could be affected by natural event. people choose to live there because usually it is better than words and the natural event is unlikely to happen

A

50% of the worlds population live in cities most cities are situated in dangerous places eg. Tokyo, LA. Densely populated places equal higher risk

How does poverty make natural hazards worse?

A

Areas that are poor can’t afford protection, this forces them to live in dangerous areas for space. No money equals no escape/evacuation.

A

People live near volcanoes for good soil, same with rivers. there is no other source of income for these farmers

How does climate change make natural hazards worse?

A

If you live in a warm atmosphere you are more of a risk to strong storms hurricanes and tornadoes. the heat makes stoms worse the heat is a catalyst to everything is very unpredictable
