Substances that can’t be stored together because contact could cause a dangerous reaction

Notify D.C. central or OOD, post safety watch
Remove spilled material
Disinfect space

Discarded material which can’t be receycled, reused or meets EPA criteria
What’s oily waste?
Material generated by the ship during operation and is usually found in the bilge

Any oil residue or turn in oil as waste after use

What’s the location and contents of oil spill kit
50FT Ropex2, snap hook x 4, Sorbent Sweepers x4, gloves, googles, fox tail, coveralls, buckets, flat diaper,long diaper, plastic bags, labels at the hazardous waste accumulation.

- 2 small craft are recommended deploy the sweep down current oil and slowly pull towards body of oil
- collect the soaked sorbet in 55 gallon drums lined with plastic bags and store for disposal ashore
