The hawk thinks about killing in it’s sleep. “Perfect” implies pleasure. The rhyming emphasises the perfection. Repetition of “hooked” shows Hawk’s violent potential.

Now I hold Creation in my foot.
Hawk believes it’s a master piece. The capital c in “Creation” could be a reference to God. Ends with a reversal, Hawk was created by God, now better than.
Hawk Roosting - I kill where I please because it is all mine.
Monosyllabic language suggests confidence. End stopped line implies the Hawk’s say is final.
Hawk Roosting - Nothing has changed since I began.
My eye has permitted no change.
I am going to keep things like this.
Everything is indicative of power. Each line is end stopped, straight forward. Cyclic structure, Hawk is surrounding everything.
