Yes between people who support short term rentals and people who are opposed to them.
What is your position in the split?
I believe we shouldnt allow short term rentals in Emerald Bend
Why is it that you don’t want short term rentals in Emerald Bend?
I think allowing short term rental will lead to big increase in people who don’t respect our beautiful city, and pollute it.
Who is Logan Gold?
My spouse of 12 years, and my campaign manager.
What kind of person is Logan Gold?
Very kind, hardworking, amazing person, wants to do what’s best for Emerald Bend.

Yes, there was a debate scheduled to start at 12.
What time did you wake up the morning of the debate?
9:00 AM
Did anything usual happen the morning of the debate?
Yes, when I woke up Logan Gold wasnt home, had left me a note telling me he had gone to pass out fliers, and left his phone.
Was this out of the ordinary for LG? (LG leaving morning, leaving phone)
No, not really, Logan knows he can make a bit nervous sometimes, so he gave me some space because it was the debate day. Logan leaving his phone was a bit odd, but he must have been nervous and stressed.
At what time did you arrive at the debate?
11:00 AM
Was LG or TA there when you arrived?
No, I was a bit worried LG wasn’t there, because he gives me a lot of my confidence.
When did Logan Gold arrive?
12:30 AM
Did LG say anything to you once he arrived?
Yes, he said “I’m fine, it’s all been taken care of”
When did TA arrive?
TA never arrived, and the debate was dispersed around 1:00 PM
After the debate did you ask Logan Gold about why he arrived late?
Yes, and he told me that his car had broken down, and that he didn’t tell me the full story when he arrived at the debate because he didn’t want to stress me out.
The day that LG got arrested, did you go see him at the station?
Yes, as soon as I found out
Did you get a chance to speak with him?
Yes, I was allowed to talk to him
Was Deputy Kim in the room with you?
Yes, he stayed in the room
Did he say anything in particular to you and LG?
Yes he said “better make sure Dorais knows everything” and “you dont want to jeapordize Dorais’s position by making her complicit” and “lay everything out”, he also placed a hand on his gun holster, and put a tape recorder on the table. I didn’t know if it was on or not.
How are you feeling at this point? (Talking to LG after his arrest, Deputy Kim threats)
I was feeling nervous and anxious, a bit threatened.
Did LG say anything to you?
Yes, he started to ramble on a bit about our family and the future of our Hotel, but I stopped him from talking, because I didn’t want to him to say something without a lawyer present, that could be misconstrued.
Do you believe that it is possible that LG is capable of doing something such as kidnapping someone?
No, he is great person and I could never imagine Logan doing anything close to this.
