What is a Blik
A
A Blik is a framework of interpretation/ a lens through which you see the world
You start out with your blik and your blik tells you how to interpret the world

Analogy of lunatic
A
This lunatic was certain that all dons wanted to kill him
Even after his friends introduced the dons and they seemed nice no amount of evidence would change his beliefs
Hare would say that he has a blik. The idea of bliks comes from Hume
Hume says all observations/evidence is open to interpretation

Bliks in the context of religious statements
A
With the belief in God and religious statements he says they aren’t statements but bliks and they are extremely meaningful for the person who has it
