CPU
Central Processing Unit
The main part of a computer that performs most of the processing inside.
Motherboard
The main circuit board that holds the CPU, memory, and other essential components.
RAM
Random Access Memory
A type of computer memory that can be accessed randomly and is used for storing working data and machine code currently in use.
HDD
Hard Drive
A data storage device used for storing and retrieving digital information.
GPU
Graphics Card
A hardware component that renders images, videos, and animations for display.
SSD
Solid State Drive
A storage device that uses integrated circuit assemblies to store data persistently, typically faster than HDDs.
PSU
Power Supply Unit
Converts mains AC to low-voltage regulated DC power for the internal components of a computer.
Cooling Fan
A device that moves air across a heat sink or other heat-generating component to keep it cool.
Heat Sink
A passive heat exchanger that cools a device by dissipating heat into the surrounding air.

An enclosure that contains and protects most of the hardware of a personal computer.
