Non-Impact Printer
Most modern printers, including inkjet and laser printers, do not include an ink ribbon and are considered to be this.
Output Device

Scanner

Storage devices and storage media that are NOT always directly accessible by a computer.
Sound Card
A component inside the computer that provides audio input and output capabilities.
Surge Protector
Allows multiple devices to be plugged in to it at one time and protects each connected device from power surges.
Toggle Keys
Keys used to turn a function on or off, or to switch between two functions. Examples: caps lock, num lock, and insert.
Webcam
Used to broadcast video on the World Wide Web.
Power Supply
A hardware component that supplies power to an electrical device.
Processor
A small chip that resides in computers and other electronic devices. Its basic job is to receive input and provide the appropriate output.
RAM
RAM is a common hardware component found in electronic devices, including desktop computers, laptops, tablets, and smartphones.
Retina Display
A display that has a resolution of over 300 dpi.
Sector
A sector is the smallest unit that can be accessed on a hard disk.
Serial Port
A type of connection on PCs that is used for peripherals such as mice, gaming controllers, modems, and older printers.
Video Card
Used to process the graphics portion of the processing load.
Workstation
A place where work gets done.
