what is system unit ?
is it the main part of the microcomputer , and is sometimes called chassis .
what does system unit include ?
motherboard , microprocessors , memory chips , ports , expansion slots and cards
what is central processing unit (cpu ) ?
is the brain of the computer , and where most of the computing takes place . also known as **processor ** .
what is hard disk drives (HDD) ?
known as **hard drive ** . it is a magnetic storage device that is installed inside the computer .
what is optical drive ?
it is a dtorage device that uses lasers to read data on the optical media .
what are the three types of optical drive ?
compact disc (CD) , Digital versatile disc ( DVD ) , and Blu -ray disc (BD)
what is digitizer tablet ?
it is a graphics drawing tablet used for sketching new images or tracing old ones . also known as graphics tablet .
what is printer ?
it is an ouput that used to print info processed by your computer . printer and plotter varies in speed and output capabilities .
what is plotters ?
it is an output device that be able to produce drawings as compared to printer , however the speed of plotter is slower than printers .
