- Bare below the elbow
- Keep fingernails short and clean
- No artificial nails
- No jewellery on hands or wrists other than one plain metal ring
- Importance for caring for your own hands
- Identify any allergies you have to any of the hand products
- Cover all your cuts with a waterproof dressing
