A

*Origin- medial epicondyle of humerus via common flexor tendon, upper 2/3rds posterior ulna
*Insertion- pisiform (hook of hamate, 5th metacarpal)
*Action- Flexion
-Synergist: ulnar deviation
*Nerve- ulnar nerve C7,8

Flexor Digitorum Superficialis

A

*Origin- Medial epicondyle humerus, ulnar collateral ligament, coronoid process of ulna and shaft of radius.
*Insertion- palmar surface base of middle phalanx of finger 2-5
*Action- Flexes PIP jts
*Nerve- median nerve C7,8 T1

Flexor Digitorum Profundus

A

*Origin- upper 3/4 medial and anterior surface of ulna & middle 1/3 anterior interosseous membrane
*Insertion- palmar surface base distal phalanx 2-5
*Action- Flexes DIP joints
*Nerve- anterior interosseous branch median nerve C7, C8, T1 (index and middle finger)
-ulnar nerve C8, T1 (little and ring fingers)
