Anteriorly pulls and rotates 5th metacarpal(?) to bring it in opposition with thumb
Lumbricals 1-4
Flex metacarpophalangeal joints;
Extends interphalangeal joints of 2nd-5th digits
Dorsal interossei
Assists lumbricals in their action;
Abducts 2nd-4th digits away from axial line
Palmar interossei
Assists lumbricals in their action;
Adducts 2nd, 4th and 5th digits towards axial line;
Extensor expansions of 2nd-4th digits
