What is a Stener lesion?
A
Aponeurosis of the thumb adductor pollicis interposed deep the UCL of the thumb MCP joint. Diagnosed as a palpable nodule versus U/S or MRI.

What is the treatment of a thumb UCL injury?
A
Immobilization, unless there is a Stener lesion which requires open repair
