Q

How is a scientist like a good detective? Use the attitudes of a scientist and the scientific method to discuss.

A

Scientist is like a detective because both have attitudes of a scientist and use the scientific method. Honesty is important to be true to the data and publish date/results. Curiosity - leads to new questions and hypotheses. Skepticism - allows one to question results and one to re-think the hypothesis. Open-mindness allows them to think outside the box and search for other answers. Creativity allows them to think of new ways to develop equipment and to see possibilities for new discoveries, etc.
